The difference between potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate

Potassium nitrate

Containing of 13.5% nitrate N and potassium 46%, it is neutral chemical fertilizer with good solubility in water, it will not lead to soil acidification with long time using.  For ornamental fruits young fruit enlargement period and early coloring, it can promote pulp cell enlargement, containing nitrate can prevent the crop absorb the chlorine in soil.

Potassium sulfate

In theory, it contains potassium 50%; It is also chemically neutral, physiological acid fertilizer with very good solubility in water, but with long time using, it can worsen the soil acidification. It is suitable for the grapes late staining to the fruit maturity, promote fruit powder color, increase the fruit sweetness. It is said that a lot of fruit trees in manganese poisoning because of soil acidification, and the direct cause of the soil acidification is a perennial use of potassium sulfate.
